Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and experienced PREEvision Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive systems engineering and a deep understanding of the PREEvision tool from Vector. As a PREEvision Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, modeling, and managing complex automotive electrical and electronic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- PREEvision Modeling: Develop and maintain comprehensive system models using PREEvision, ensuring accurate representation of electrical and electronic architectures.
- System Design: Design and optimize E/E architectures, including networks, communication protocols, and component integration.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, hardware engineers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of systems.
- Requirements Management: Capture, analyze, and manage system requirements, ensuring they are met throughout the development process.
- Documentation: Generate detailed documentation, including system specifications, design descriptions, and validation reports.
- Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams and external partners regarding PREEvision-related queries and issues.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in automotive E/E systems and PREEvision, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Education:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive systems engineering, with significant experience using PREEvision.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in PREEvision for modeling and designing E/E architectures.
- Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, networks (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet), and communication protocols.
- Experience with requirements management tools and processes.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- Experience with other automotive engineering tools (e.g., CANoe, CANalyzer).
- Knowledge of automotive standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 26262, AUTOSAR).
